Stanford’s performance last year in winning the women’s NCAA Division I Championships by nearly 200 points was a blockbuster hit…and this year’s team might even be better. The Cardinal return nearly 200 points more than its cross-Bay pursuer, Cal…and more than twice as many points as any of the remaining Top 10 teams’ returning scorers.
Despite losing senior Lia Neal, the Cardinal team is still loaded with talent. Coach Greg Meehan returns to defend the Stanford title with top names like Katie Ledecky, Simone Manuel, and diver Kassidy Cook.
