Swim Poll of the Week: Who will win the 100 butterfly in Greensboro?
This is the Swim Poll of the Week for Thursday, April 28, 2022, sponsored by Strechcordz Swim Training Products. In our last poll, we wanted to know: Who will win the 100 butterfly in Greensboro?
Competition has been stacked in Greensboro this week for International Team Trials.
Torri Huske and Claire Curzan made waves on night one with their performance in the 100 freestyle. Curzan also came out with the top seed going into Tuesday night’s 50 butterfly finals. Curzan claimed first in that event and was off Kelsi Dahlia’s American record by one one-hundreth of a second. Dahlia came in third behind Huske to round out the top three. The 100 race will be quite the race to watch if these three battle it out once again.
Kate Douglass did not compete in the 50 butterfly A final. She swam in the 200 breaststroke during night two, where she finished second behind Lilly King. Douglass will compete against Huske, Curzan, and Dahlia in the 100 butterfly prelims on Thursday, April 28.
