She most recently competed at the Florida Spring Swim meet where she earned gold medals in the 50 fly and 200 fly after competed at Juniors East in December. She also capped off her long course season with a trio of top-10 finishes at Gainesville Speedo Sectionals.
While competing for Saint John Neumann High School, Burt is a six-time Florida 1A State Championship finalist. She placed second in the 100 fly and third in the 50 free as a junior and was the 100 fly runner-up during her sophomore season as well. She told Swimming World:
“I am super excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Arizona! I loved the team atmosphere and felt at home on the campus. I would like to thank my coaches, parents and everyone who helped me along the way! Go Wildcats!! Bear Down!!”
Her best times include:
