Sprinter Seth Bailey Commits to the University of Tennessee
NEW COMMIT: Batesville, Arkansas’ Seth Bailey announced his commitment to swim for the University of Tennessee. A senior at Batesville High School, Bailey is primarily a sprint freestyler. He does his club swimming with Shark ATAC (Arkansas Texarkana Aquatic Club). This year Bailey rewrote the record books, taking the state marks in the 50, 100, and 200 freestyles.
His best times are:
- 50 Free 20.89
- 100 Free 45.09
- 200 Free 1:39.46
- 100 Back 51.27
- 200 Back 1:53.11
Bailey said of his decision,
“I have selected the University of Tennessee because I loved the school and their swim program. After meeting with the coaching staff and team members it felt like I was at home. I am excited to attend University of Tennessee to pursue my degree in Architecture as well as continue my swimming career…. Having swum on such a small high school team and club team I feel that being given the opportunity to to swim on a Division 1 team is a blessing! Go Vols!”
