Sprinter Allie Fenska of Jersey Wahoos Delivers Verbal to Ohio State for 2021
NEW COMMIT: The Ohio State University has secured a new verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Haddon Heights, N.J. native Allison “Allie’ Fenska.
She will join Teresa Ivan, Mackenzie DeWitt, Malia Rausch, Mairin O’Brien, Paige Hall and Gwen Woodbury with the Buckeyes as a member of the class of 2025.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and swimming career at THE Ohio State University!! i want to thank all of my coaches and teammates who have helped me achieve this dream as well as my family and friends for their unwavering support through everything. i can’t wait to be a part of this amazing team and school:) GO BUCKS!!!!!?⭕️‼️”
Fenska does her club swimming with Jersey Wahoos and owns the Junior National cut in the 50 free. She recorded three best times the TPIT Annual Christmas Invitational in December where she earned silver in the 100 free and took fourth in the 50 free. Last summer, she placed seventh in the 50m free at Middle Atlantic Seniors before going on to earn a pair of top-16 finishes at Geneva Futures.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 23.39
- 100 free – 51.41
- 200 free – 1:53.54
Also competing for Moorestown Friends School, Fenska is a four-time New Jersey Meet of Champions finalist. She won the 100 fly and was the 50 free runner-up as a junior while racing to third and second, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.
