South Korea Swimming Federation Offices Raided

The Korean Swimming Federation (KSF) had been raided by government officials according to the BBC.

Prosecutors raided the headquarters of the KSF looking for evidence of “forging documents and siphoning off expenses” according to South Korea’s culture ministry.

So far, at least one unnamed executive level KSF officer has been arrested as well as several other lower level officials.

Prosecutors also raided “20 other organizations linked to the KSF.”

The raid came about after claims that the KSF was picking up unearned subsidies from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourisem.
