Senior Meet Sweep For Oregon State

It was a successful Senior Meet for the Oregon State Beavers, who took every event of the double dual meet against Willamette and Southwestern Oregon Community College on Saturday January 16. The Beavers beat Willamette with a score of 138-78 and SOCC by a score of 143-62.
The meet began with a victory in the 200 medley relay, when a team of Amani Amr, Czarina Isleta, Andrea Young, and Constance Toulemonde. Senior Sammy Harrison kept the momentum rolling with a win in the 500 shortly thereafter (5:00.28), which marked her 21st overall win in her four year career at Oregon State. Senior Amr took the 50 back (26.77), which was followed by junior Isleta’s win in the 50 breast (30.76).
Freshman Megan Lam became the next victor from the Beavers when she won the 100 fly (58.59), followed by junior Sophie MacEwan in the 50 free (24.77). Toulemonde then took the 100 free (53.05). Lam went on to claim another event when she won the 100 back (59.28), while Isleta took a second personal victory in the 100 breast (1:07.03).
The rest of the meet was scored as exhibition for the Beavers, who continued to roll through their competition with ease.
