Ryan Lochte Waltzes Past Elimination On Dancing With The Stars
Six-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte will be back on television sets next Monday night as he survived the first week of double elimination on Dancing with the Stars.
This week, Lochte—dressed as a mime and heavily made-up—and partner Cheryl Burke waltzed to “Jeux D’eau” and scored a 22, a middle-of-the-pack score, but fan vote counts significantly towards who stays and who goes home, so Lochte managed to survive. Lochte and Burke were the last pair saved during the first round of elimination two weeks ago, and Lochte has been called “too stiff” when he dances, but the pair has had no brushes with elimination since.

Lochte also recorded a video diary for Monday’s show. Check that out here:
For the third time in four weeks, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez had the top score of the week with partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Songwriter Babyface was eliminated after he and partner Allison Holker scored an 18, and rapper Vanilla Ice and partner Witney Carson also were sent home.
Natalie Coughlin was awesome on DWTS…she was a great dancer, but I don’t remember Swimming World giving her much press. .
Hi Mindy! All of Swimming World’s articles on Natalie can be found here: https://www.swimmingworldmagazine.com/news/?s=natalie+coughlin+dancing+with+the+stars
he’s bizarre
How so?
There might be things in Ryan’s life that we are unaware of so unless we know the whole story it is not for us to judge.
