Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte was eliminated from the television show Dancing with the Stars Monday night. After an eight-week run in which low scores often left him at risk for elimination (he was the last to be called safe in week two), Lochte and partner Cheryl Burke received the boot on Halloween Night.
Lochte and Burke performed the Tango to “Howlin’ for You” by The Black Keys and received a score of 23, tied for the lowest of the seven remaining couples. But this time, the fan vote could not save them from elimination. Lochte and Burke also performed the Cha-cha-cha in a dance-off later in the evening.

At least he tried..
Sorry he’s gone. Fun to watch a non dancer blossom. I personally enjoy it more when you can see someone who starts out like an ugly duckling to turn into a swan.
Agreed. Cool hearing Lochte get praise for his “performance” since obviously that’s a concept so foreign to swimming. Plus, I assume I’m not the only swimmer too clumsy to run, let alone dance!
Ryan was great! Compare his dancing to his first week…he has a great attitude – it took guts to get out there and face the public, especially in an endeavor that was not in his skill set.
