Russian Swimming Federation Re-Elects Vladimir Salnikov
The Russian Swimming Federation held their 2016 General Congress today, November 10, 2016, in Kazan. As part of their meeting the Russian Swimming Federation held an election for the next president (a four-year term).
Vladimir Salnikov, who ran unopposed, was unanimously re-elected for another four year term.
Additionally, Alexander Danilov, President of the Federation of Masters swimming, and Alexey Filonov, Presidium of the Swimming Federation of Moscow, were both elected to be vice-president by two-time Olympic champion Denis Pankratov.
One of the first decisions the co-vice-presidents made was to retain executive director of WWF Gregory Stetsyuk and President of the Federation of swimming for the Volgograd region, Victor Avdienko.
