Report: Synchronized Diving To Be In 2000 Olympics

Synchronized diving is headed for the 2000 Olympics. FINA said the sport will probably be accepted by the IOC. FINA added that upon its recommendation Sydney organizers petitioned the IOC, and the IOC executive board will decide in March. Synchronized diving, recognized since 1995, is part of most major international diving competitions, including the World Championships.
