The 2017 NCAA D1 Men’s Swim & Dive Championships continued with more impressive performances on night two. Swimming World’s Peter H. Bick has been on deck capturing all of the action and excitement as we charge towards the next national champion!

Texas senior Clark Smith set a new NCAA and American record in the 500 freestyle. U.S. Open, NCAA, and American records fell in the night’s final event: the 400 medley relay. The team from Texas broke through the three minute barrier with new U.S. Open and NCAA marks. The runners up from California set a new American record.
