Just a day after missing out on the 100-yard breaststroke 15-16 U.S. National Age Group record by hours, Penn Charter’s Reece Whitley broke the 15-16 NAG in the 200-yard breaststroke at the 2015 NCAP Invitational.
Whitley put up a time of 1:53.66 during finals tonight in Maryland to break Andrew Seliskar’s previous mark of 1:54.87.
At the 2013 NCSA Junior Nationals, a 16-year-old Seliskar crushed the 15-16 U.S. National Age Group record of 1:56.46 set by current Indiana Hoosier Cody Miller back in 2008.
When splits are made available, we will update this article.
