Rasovsky, Cunha Victorious at FINA/HOSA Marathon Swimming World Cup in Lac Megantic
Hungary’s Kristof Rasovsky and Ana Marcela Cunha of Brazil were the best on Saturday at the fifth leg of the 2017 edition of the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swimming World Cup in Lac Megantic (CAN).
They respectively touched home in 1:58:18.0 for Rasovszky and 2:06.12.86 for Cunha.
Cunha’s teammate Alla Do Carmo touched home third in the men’s race, achieving a time of 1:58.25.02, while Italy’s Federico Vanelli took silver in 1:58:21.06.
Italy did great in the women’s operations by clinched the silver and bronze medals at stake. Rachele Bruni clocked a time of 2:06:14.52 and Arianna Bridi followed extremely close behind in 2:06:14.87.
The sixth and penultimate leg of the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swimming World Cup will take place in Chun’An, China on October 15.
