MIDDLETOWN, Connecticut, March 17. CHELSEA Piers’ Alexandra Walsh had herself an amazing run at the Connecticut Age Group Championships, as she closed the weekend with her third 11-12 National Age Group mark in as many days.
After taking down the 100-yard IM and 100-yard back the last two nights, Walsh returned with a stunning time of 2:15.64 in the 200-yard breaststroke. That swim cut more than half-a-second off Annie Zhu’s 2007 record of 2:16.16 as Walsh continues to become a name to remember in the years to come.
