Rumors have been circulating that USA Swimming’s National Team Director, Dennis Pursley, may be preparing his resignation soon. It is known that Pursley has applied for the head coaching position at the University of Alabama. Pursley, who was appointed National Team Director in 1989, has a contract with USA Swimming that extends to the year 2001.
