Katinka Hosszu has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame since she first represented Hungary in the 2004 Olympics. The 23-year-old has since represented her country in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and was the 400 IM world champion in 2009, in addition to earning the 2009 Hungarian Sportsman of the Year award. In London, she placed fourth in the 400 IM, missing the podium by only a half-second.
