On the Cover
Much has been made in the past two years of the new breaststroke style that came out of Hungary, the wave-action breaststroke. Jozsef Szabo and Peter Szabo, both top-world breaststrokcrs as well as world-record holder IMer Tamas Darnyi, all use the new style. American record-holder Mike Barrowman has also picked up the stroke. He learned it from the source, Jozsef Nagy, the Hungarian coach who invented the style and who now coaches in Baltimore for Curl- Burke Swim Club. We went to that source to find out just what this new stroke is all about; see page 11.
