This month SWIMMINC TECHNIQUE’S focus is on breaststroke. For a detailed discussion of the different aspects of various breaststroke styles and how to coach the stroke, we went to Paul Bergen, currently the coach of Etobicoke Swim Club in Canada. Bergen believes the total stroke in breaststroke is greater than the sum of its individual elements. He discusses this and other aspects beginning on page 8.
