Princeton Tigers Earn Verbal Commitment From Noah Sech
NEW COMMIT: U.S. Open qualifier Noah Sech of San Clemente, California, will head to the east coast next fall after verbally committing* to Princeton University.
He is set to join Ethan Harrington and Daniel Li in the Tigers’ Class of 2027.
Sech does his club swimming with Mission Viejo Nadadores and most recently placed 15th in the 100m breast and 22nd in the 200m breast at Junior Nationals last month after finishing 27th/28th/26th in the 100m breast/200m breast/400m IM at Phillips 66 Nationals.
His best times include:
- 100 breast – 55.38
200 IM – 1:49.90
400 IM – 4:00.63
100 free – 47.48
200 free – 1:42.13
Currently a senior at San Clemente High School, Sech finished 12th in the 200 IM at the 2022 CIF State Championships. He placed fifth in the 100 breast and sixth in the 200 IM at the CIF Southern Sectional Championship last season, too.
