Olympic swimming medalists Florent Manaudou and Pernille Blume are engaged. The couple announced their engagement on social media on Wednesday.
“I would say August gets a 10/10 ? My love and I both getting medals at the Olympics and then THIS!!!” Blume wrote on Instagram.

Florent Manaudou, from France, and Pernille Blume, from Denmark, are two of the world’s greatest sprinters. Both have won multiple Olympic medals, including gold in the 50 freestyle. Manaudou won the Olympic gold medal in the 50 free in London in 2012, while Blume won the same event in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Blume overcame an hole in her heart, which required surgery, to make another Olympic team in 2021. Manaudou also qualified for the Olympics and both swimmers won medals in Tokyo.
Both compete in the International Swimming League (ISL) for Energy Standard.
