Olympian Larsen Jensen and Wife Announce Birth of Son

Two-time Olympic medalist Larsen Jensen and wife Emily have announced the birth of their son Troy Gregory, born July 18th, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. PST. Little Troy weighed in at 8lbs, 3 oz at birth and newly-minted Dad happily expressed to Swimming World that “Emily and Troy are both very healthy and happy!”
Jensen is a 2004 and 2008 Olympian claiming a silver and a bronze medal from his two Olympic Games. In 2004 Jensen grabbed silver in the men’s 1500-meter freestyle and posted fourth in the 400-meter free. In 2008 he earned bronze in the 400 and finished fifth in the 1500. The now 30 year old still holds the American and U.S. Open records in the 400 freestyle.
After retiring from swimming, Jensen went on to serve as a Navy SEAL.
