Olympian Kate Ziegler to Speak At Rockin’ For Gold Cancer Research Event

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, New Jersey, October 16. Olympic swimmer Kate Ziegler is set to be a guest speaker at the Rockin’ for Gold fundraiser in New Jersey on Nov. 14. The event, in its fifth year to support Make Some Noise: Cure Kids Cancer Foundation, is focused on raising money for research into childhood cancers.
The event, which will take place at the Jumping Brook Country Club on Nov. 14 from 7-11 p.m., has a strong supporter in Monmouth Barracuda Swim Team head coach Paul Buerck, who organized Ziegler’s appearance.
The fundraiser features a dinner as well as a silent auction
The evening’s guest speaker will be Kate Ziegler, an inspiring athlete and Olympic Gold Medalist. Kate is a 2-time Olympian and World Record Holder, a 9-time National Champion, 4-time World Champion, and a winner of 15 medals in international competitions. She motivates others to dream big, maintain perspective, and overcome setbacks, all while never losing sight of their journey.
