For the third time this weekend, a quartet of Ohio State Swim Club 11-12 girls took down a National Age Group relay record.
On the final morning of the Ohio Long Course Junior Olympics, Riley Huddleston, Martina Peroni, Hannah Routh, and Ava Lachey opened the session with a 4:03.61 in the 400 freestyle relay.
The same four girls also broke the 200 and 400 medley relay records this weekend in Oxford.
The old 400 freestyle relay mark was a 4:05.53 swum by Lake Oswego’s Grace Carlson, Abby Lyons, Brie Balsbough, and Brenda Cha. That was the same four girls who held the old 200 medley relay mark.
The team’s B relay finished second in 4:21.38.
