NOW ONLINE September Swimming World Magazine: Bolles School Boys Clip New Trier for National High School Title
PHOENIX, Arizona, September 2. BOLLES School (Fla.) edged New Trier (Ill.) by the slimmest of margins to earn its second boys National High School Title in the last three years, as the squad from Florida compiled a 147.5-point tally against New Trier's total of 147 points. Bolles has now been the top boys independent school in the last three years, and four of the seven.
“I am very happy for the swimmers, parents, coaches and the Bolles family,” head coach Sergio Lopez said. “Bolles has a long tradition of excellence, and our job as coaches is to make sure that the swimmers understand it, embrace it and take ownership of it.”
