Nicolo’ Martinenghi Lowers Own 100 Breast World Junior Record

Nicolo’ Martinenghi continued to throw down swift times at the 2017 European Junior Championships by lowering his own 100 breast World Junior Record.
Martinenghi had set the previous mark at a 59.31 while swimming at the 2017 Setti Colli International meet on June 23, 2017.
The 16-year-old charged to a final time of 59.23 to lower his World Junior mark and set a new Italian Record in the process. Additionally, his time of 59.23 doubles as a new European Junior and Championship meet record.
This marks the third time he has lowered the World Junior record this year.
