Nic Fink Sets New 50 Breast Pro Swim Series Record in Knoxville

Nic Fink blasted a quick 27.34 50 breaststroke to set a new TYR Pro Swim Series record. The previous record was held by Cody Miller from 2016. The swim was Fink’s third-fastest performance in this event (27.18 from July’s Summer Nationals). It was also his first individual win of the 2019 Series.
Kevin Cordes was close behind in 27.47 as was Michael Andrew in 27.71. Andrew was able to make the podium just slightly ahead of Andrew Wilson (27.74).
Rounding out the heat were Connor Hoppe (27.77), Pavel Romanov (27.84), Alexander Milan (28.14) and Evgenii Somov (28.69).
