Nevada State Champion Madeleine Hebert Sends 2023 Verbal to NC State Wolfpack
NEW COMMIT: NC State has added yet another impressive verbal commitment to its growing roster for the 2023-24 season, this time from Henderson, Nevada native Madeleine Hebert.
She will join Tyler Driscoll, Abby Woolford, Hayley Clark and Keelan Cotter in Raleigh as a member of the Wolfpack’s Class of 2027.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I could not be more thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at North Carolina State University! I want to thank my amazing family, friends, teammates, and Coach Lorena for giving me endless support throughout this journey. To both my Team Rebel and Bluefin families, thank you for helping me learn to love this sport in ways I never thought I would. I am so excited to see what the future holds! LETS GO PACK! #wwrecipes”
Hebert does her club swimming with Team Rebel Aquatics and finished 12th in the 200 free, 13th in the 100 free and 21st in the 500 free at Juniors West back in December. In March, she earned three best times en route to winning a trio of races at the Southern California Swimming Desert Committee Championships.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 23.18
- 100 free – 49.85
- 200 free – 1:47.44
- 500 free – 4:51.37
- 1000 free – 10:15.28
- 1650 free – 17:10.90
- 200 IM – 2:05.49
- 200 back – 2:04.48
A rising senior at Coronado High School, Hebert won both the 100 and 200 free at the 2022 Nevada State Championships.
NC State finished second overall in the team standings at the 2022 ACC Championships behind Virginia.
