NCSA Finalist Aislinn Holder Will Be a Hoosier After Sending Verbal Commitment to Indiana
NEW COMMIT: Cypress, Texas native and Junior National qualifier Aislinn Holder has announced her verbal commitment to Indiana University beginning in the fall of 2021.
She will join Emma Shaughnessy, Sydney Turner, Brearna Crawford, Kabria Chapman, Elyse Heiser, Anna Peoplowski and Mariah Denigan in Bloomington as a member of the Hoosiers’ class of 2025.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am beyond proud and excited to announce my verbal commitment to study and swim at Indiana University! I sincerely want to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates for their guidance and encouragement! I am honored to be a part of this amazing team! Go Hoosiers!”
Primarily a sprint butterflyer and freestyler, Holder most recently competed at College Station Sectionals where she finaled in the 100m free and 100m fly. She raced three events at Juniors West in December and finished 12th in the 100m fly at NCSAs last summer.
She currently does her club swimming with Premier Aquatics Club of Klein.
Her best times include:
- 100 fly – 55.85
- 200 IM – 2:08.27
- 50 free – 23.57
- 100 free – 51.37
Holder is a rising senior at Cypress Fairbanks High School and has earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors twice in her career thus far.
