The further the rounds went, the higher the scores got for platform divers at the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

Indiana’s Skyler Liu overcame a lot of great scores from the field and a fire alarm in the middle of the competition which delayed the action for more than a half hour.

“This means so much to me,” Liu said. “Last year, I thought I would have a chance to win but I got injured in warmup, so I tried to hard to get it tonight.”

LSU’s Montserrat Lavenant took an early lead, then built it narrowly as the score “10” came out of the announcer’s mouth. It wasn’t a full slate of 10s, but one was enough to put the rest of the field on notice.

And the field responded with 8.5s. and 9s to remain within striking distance.

“That made me nervous, but I was able to (focus on my dives),” Liu waid.

Through three rounds four divers were over 200 points. Lavenant was at 232.20 points with Indiana’s Liu at 222.10 and Minnesota’s Viviana Del Angel at 216.30 and Stanford’s Anna Lemkin at 205.20.

Then the fire alarm went off to clear the building.

The scores continued to rise and on the last dive, Indiana senior Skyler Liu passed Lavenant to win the NCAA platform title with a score of 382.15.

Lavenant was second with 375.40, followed by Del Angel (371.50), and Purdue’s Dayrn Wright (358.70), who threw down a beauty on the final round to move up several places.

I get paid over $130 1 to 3 hours working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over $27k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless.
