NCAA Men’s Championships: Florida In Position to Apply Pressure (Day 3 Up-Downs)
The team with the most swimmers in the third night session of the NCAA Men’s Championships Friday at IUPUI Natatorium is Florida.
Not leading Arizona State. Not second-place Cal. But Florida, with its six A finalists and six B finalists Friday night. The Gators are going to try to apply pressure on the leading two, and in the process they are sure to create separation in the top three battle from Texas. They’re also the only one of the leading trio with a diver that could score on 3-meter, with Indiana leading the way there.

Texas was the most disappointing of the contenders in the morning just one A finalist, Luke Hobson in the 200 free, and two B finalists. Indiana will consolidate their edge in fourth with diving ahead of Texas. NC State has three up and four down tonight.
