NCAA Men’s Championships: 100 Free Battle Highlights Final Morning (Heat Sheets)

The 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships continue with Day 4 from Federal Way, Washington.

The final prelims session will see the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke and 200 butterfly before the afternoon session of platform diving and the 1650 freestyle.

The 200 backstroke kicks off the competition with Olympic champion Hubert Kos of Texas leading the field.

But the field is strong with Florida’s Jonny Marshall, Indiana’s Owen McDonald and the Cal duo of Gabriel Jett and Destin Lasco looking to make a dent in the team scores, as well as Texas sophomore Will Modglin.

The 100 free will be another showdown with Tennessee’s Jordan Crooks, Florida’s Josh Liendo and Cal’s Jack Alexy. It should be a treat to watch.

The 200 breaststroke will see Olympians Matt Fallon and Josh Matheny lead the field.

The NCAA 200 butterfly will be led by Georgia’s Luca Urlando and Arizona State’s Ilya Kharun.

It should be an extremely fast and interesting battle as Texas, Cal and Indiana all look to remain in the team scoring race.
