NCAA Division II Qualifiers Announced: Drury, Tampa Lead Qualifiers (Psych Sheets)
The NCAA announced it list of invited swimmers to the 2023 Division II swimming and diving championships for men and women.
There are 183 women and 157 men invited, prior to diving regional qualifying. A total of 48 schools are represented for the women and 37 schools represented by men’s swimmers.
The biggest number of qualifiers comes from the University of Tampa, which has 18 women’s qualifiers. Indianapolis has 16 and Colorado Mesa has 12. Nova Southeastern and Wingate each have 11 and Drury has 10.

The top NCAA men’s teams in terms of number of qualifiers are Drury with 15, Indianapolis with 13, Colorado Mesa with 12 and Wingate with 11.
After the automatic qualifiers, the NCAA selects one “B” cut per event until the field is set with the same number in each event.
For the men, Colorado Mesa has four top seeds, while Findlay, McKendree, Henderson and Tampa each have two.
For the NCAA Division II women’s meet women, Nova Southeastern has seven top seeds.
There will be a new champion no matter what happens since Queens has moved to Division I.Last year, Queens University won both the men’s and women’s NCAA Division II Championships. They are in the middle of a transition period to Division I and will be eligible in a couple of years to swim at the Division I Championships.
