NCAA Champion Andrew Seliskar Signs With Speedo
NCAA Champion and World Championships team member Andrew Seliskar signed with Speedo on Friday, the brand announced.
Seliskar won three individual NCAA titles in 2019, winning the 200 IM, 200 free and 200 breaststroke en route to helping the Golden Bears take the team title. He also represented the United States at the 2019 World Championships, winning a bronze medal in the 4×200 freestyle relay as well as reaching the semi finals of the individual 200 freestyle.
After a successful junior career for Nation’s Capital Swim Club, where was the 2015 high school swimmer of the year by this publication, Andrew Seliskar won his first senior national title in 2018 in the 200 freestyle, which solidified his place on the 2019 Worlds team. He is a favorite to make the 2020 Olympic team in a number of events as he has the fastest time in the nation this year in the 200 freestyle.
Seliskar also represented the LA Current the last two ISL seasons as he had the fastest time in the league in the 200 IM, and was third in the 400 IM and fifth in the 200 free in 2020.
