RALEIGH, North Carolina, September 27. THE NC State swimming & diving team hosted its annual Red, White and Black meet Friday afternoon at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center.
The men’s and women’s rosters were combined and split into three even teams: Red, White and Black. The three teams competed head-to-head across 15 events, including diving, individual swims and two relays.
Holloway’s Take
“Today was a fun outing,” said head coach Braden Holloway. “It’s always nice to see some of the new faces get up and race, as well as the chance to see the improvement of the upperclassmen from the year before. The main goal was just to have fun today and enjoy competing.”
Karshen’s Knowledge
“For this point in the season and where we’re at with our training schedule, I thought the divers did really well,” said head diving coach Josh Karshen. “They had fun, they did some good dives and some funny dives. I thought it was a good day.”
