Nathan Adrian, Wife Hallie Welcome Second Child, Daughter Brooklyn
Olympic gold medalist Nathan Adrian announced the birth of his second child on Instagram Tuesday.
Adrian and his wife, Hallie, welcomed Brooklyn James Adrian on Aug. 25. They have previously announced that she was due in September.
The Adrian family an older daughter, Parker, born in 2021.
Nathan Adrian owns eight career Olympic medals, including five golds. The cornerstone achievement was gold in the men’s 100 freestyle at the 2012 Olympics in London, to go with relay gold and silver. He added a pair of bronze medals in the 50 and 100 free at the 2016 Rio games along with two relays golds.
The former University of California standout is a 12-time world champion (long- and short-course), to go with six Pan Pacific and two Pan American golds. All five of his Pan Am Games medals (two relay golds, plus silver in the 50 and 100 free) came in 2019 after Adrian successfully beat testicular cancer.
Adrian, who turns 34 in December, didn’t qualify for the Tokyo Olympics in either the 50 or the 100 at U.S. Olympic Trials in 2021.
