Mountaineers Keep Delaney Householder Local For 2024-25
NEW COMMIT: West Virginia University has kept in-state versatile standout Delaney Householder in state, as the Morgantown, W.Va. native verbally committed to the Mountaineers for Fall 2024.
She told Swimming World:
“I am extremely excited and proud to commit verbally to swim for the Mountaineers! The entire team and coaching staff made me feel at home on my visit and I can’t wait to become a part of the Mountaineer swim family, and am looking forward to swimming and competing in the newly reconfigured Big 12 Conference in the future! Let’s Go!!!”
No stranger to WVU’s program, Householder does her club swimming with Club Mountaineer Aquatics and won three events at the West Virginia LCM Championships this past summer. She also earned eight top-4 finishes at West Virginia SCY Championships back in March, highlighted by four silver medals.
