The University of Missouri added another swimmer and a diver to their class of 2021 this week. Ryan Geheb announced his verbal commitment to swim for the Tigers while the women added diver Amber Brickey.

Ryan Geheb

Geheb is from Michigan but has spent the last year living in Texas and training with Nitro Swimming in Austin. He is also a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

His best times are:

  • 100 Breast 55.52
  • 200 Breast 2:00.75
  • 200 IM 1:50.33

Mizzou finished fifth at last year’s SEC Championships. Geheb is not quite in conference scoring range, but he has dropped three full seconds in his 200 breaststroke since 2015.

Amber Brickey

Brickey lives in Seminole, Florida and attends Osceola High School where she holds the one meter school record. She dives with West Florida Lightning Aquatics. In 2015 she was a competitor at USA Diving Junior Nationals.

In 2016 the Mizzou women finished fifth at SECs. The tigers put two sophomores, Alexa Beckwith and Kendra Kieser, into the three meter final while their classmate Madeline McKernan also scored. McKernan was the only one of the trio in finals on one meter. Brickey will overlap with that group for their senior year.
