Miriam Sheehan Breaks Own 50 Fly NAG Record

Miriam Sheehan of the Phoenix Swim Club lowered her own National Age Group record in the 10 & under 50-meter butterfly this weekend at the Far Western Championship Meet in San Jose, California.

Sheehan busted out a 29.48 in prelims. The time supplants her previous mark of 29.84, which she achieved at the Arizona Swimming Age Group State Championship in mid July. Sheehan has made solid progression in this event throughout the season:

The Phoenix Swim Club phenom holds five national age group records in long course and one in short course.

Sheehan swam a 29.87 at finals to win the event.
