KFAR SABA, Israel, March 19. TERRORISM hit very close to home last Sunday when the son of Swimming World's Israeli correspondent, Dr. Buky Chass, was pinned down in an attack by a Palestinian gunman.
Amit Chass, 13, was walking with a friend in the Israeli town of Kfar Saba when a Palestinian terrorist opened fire on a crowd of civilians.
Amit and his friend immediately took cover, as the gunman, standing only 20 yards away, sprayed the crowd with bullets, killing an 18 year-old girl and wounding 16 other people, mostly children. Fortunately the gunman never turned in Amit's direction.
The terrorist was killed by Israeli police.
