Michigan State Champion Annette Schultz Verbally Commits to Louisville
NEW COMMIT: Michigan’s Annette Schultz has verbally committed to swim for the University of Louisville beginning in the fall of 2018. Schultz is a backstroker and sprint freestyler at Dexter Community Aquatics Club. The high school senior is also a multiple time Michigan high school state champion.
As a sophomore in 2015 she led Dexter High School to the Michigan Division 2 State Championship. She swam the backstroke leg of the winning 200 medley relay and won the 200 freestyle (1:47.89) and 100 freestyle (50.34).
In 2016 Schultz opened the high school state meet in a 25.74 split on the 200 medley relay, the fastest backstroke leg in the meet, en route to a fourth place finish for her team in the event. Schultz defended her 200 (1:48.27) and 100 (50.30) freestyle titles as a junior. She also anchored (50.29) the school’s winning 400 freestyle relay.
