NBAC’s Michael Phelps raced his way to another Arena Series victory in the men’s 100-meter fly at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.
Phelps turned in a time of 52.28 for the win. That’s not far off his sizzling 51.94 from the Austin stop of the Arena Series that ranks him second in the world.
Phelps went out in a sizzling time of 24.62 and held off a hard-charging Tom Shields for the win.
California’s Shields took second in 52.35. That’s better than his fourth-ranked 52.39 from Austin earlier this year, but wasn’t enough to track down Phelps.
Brazil’s Henrique Martins took third overall in 52.59, while Club Seminole’s Pavel Sankovich placed fourth in 52.71.
Phoenix’s Giles Smith (53.16), Wolfpack’s Eugene Godsoe (53.45), Argentina’s Santiago Grassi (53.46) and Wolfpack’s David Williams (54.26) also swam in the heat.
NBAC’s David Nolan, Phelps’ training partner in what has been dubbed NBAC Southwest at Arizona State University, won the B final in 53.03. Marius Kusch took second in 53.58.

And then you have a 3A sophomore swimmer from Wyoming going a 50:89 in the 100 Fly at the state meet. Come on Phleps you can do better than that I know you can.
The high school meet is in yards, Phelps swam meters. Michael’s swim is approximately equivalent to a 45.8 in a high school pool.
Not in long course…
Long course vs short course dude…night and day race and distribution of times.
lmao ur a dumbass.. this is long course meters… high school is held in short course yards.
PLUS, michael can go under 45… there are JUNIOR NAT guys going under 45…
Maria Gabriela Pereira já sabes quanto VPU fazer no nacional ?
Hahah muito fácil ???
