In an interview with The Strait Times, Michael Phelps showed his support for Joseph Schooling, the reigning Olympic Champion in the 100 fly, in the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Schooling memorably beat Phelps, his childhood idol, in that 100 fly in Rio de Janeiro nearly three years ago.
In the interview, Phelps said Schooling “is going to be fine” as long as he prepares himself accordingly heading into the Games. “He’s talented enough, he’s got enough speed, he’s got a great kick, he’s a great competitor,” said Phelps.

Phelps was in Singapore last week alongside Schooling at the ‘What’s Next in Global Sports’ event in Singapore. The two shared the stage and were both featured guest speakers at the global sports event.
Schooling posted on his Instagram account to commemorate the meeting, posting a “Eight weeks out to the World Championships and managed to get some time with @m_phelps00 . Always fun to catch up with the ?.”
Sorry to disagree with the GOAT but no way, now how….
No way , Dressel, especially after his 200fly
Kristof Milak will be olimpic champion!
No way man Dressel will beat him to gold and probably by a reasonable margin too.
