Michael Phelps Soaks Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ (VIDEO)
Michael Phelps is used to being soaked, but on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he got to soak the host.
Fallon and Phelps played a game on the show called “Water War” which is just the card game war, where the high card wins. Loser gets a glass of water dumped on them – five rounds. Phelps got to dump the first glass on Fallon and won the game, getting to douse Fallon with a water cannon at the end.
The 23-time Olympic champion also demonstrated what he does as a yoga warmup for golf.
Michael Phelps discussed a number of things on the show, including, hanging out with Fallon in Las Vegas, golfing shirtless with NBA star Blake Griffin, doing Karaoke with Justin Timberlake.
But on a more serious note, he also discussed the Olympics, his career, his son’s first swim race and mental health awareness, something he continues to discuss regularly in hopes of helping people dealing with their own mental health issues.
“I still go through anxiety and depression daily,” Michael Phelps said.
He talked about checking in with friends and finding someone to reach out to when you are down.
Then it was on to the Water War, where Michael Phelps defeated Fallon in a fun conclusion to the show.
