Miami Ohio Gets 2020 Verbal from Canadian Sprinter Honor Brodie-Foy of Toronto Swim Club
NEW COMMIT: Toronto, Ontario native Honor Brodie-Foy has announced her verbal commitment to Miami University (Ohio) as a member of the class of 2024.

She raced five events at the Canadian Swimming Trials and was a five-time finalist at the Ontario Junior International meet. At the Irish National Championships this past summer, she won the 50m/100m free as well as the 100m/200m fly.
She told Swimming World:
“I’m thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career with Miami University. Thank you to everyone who played a role in this journey, especially my parents, my coach, Bill O’Toole , of the Toronto Swim Club (TSC) and my teammates. The coaches and swimmers at Miami immediately made me feel at home. I can’t wait to be a Redhawk!!”
In LCM, her best times include:

- 100m free – 58.12
- 200m free – 2:08.37
- 100m fly – 1:02.87
- 200m fly – 2:22.01
