Men’s and Womens MVPs and All-Tourney Teams Announced
ATHENS, 29 August. ACCREDITED Media voted Gergely Kiss (HUN) and Tania di Mario (ITA) as the Most Valuable Players of the waterpolo tournaments of the 2004 Olympic Games, organizers announced after the final game.
Kiss scored the goal breaking the 7-7 tie in Hungary’s come-from-behind 8-7 victory over Serbia and Montenegro for the men’s gold medal.
Brenda Villa was the only member of Team USA named to either squad.
The All Star Team of the Men's Water Polo Tournament is composed of the following players:
