A very optimistic Matt Josa of Queens talked with Swimming World‘s Katy Sonksen last night following his amazing 100-yard fly.
During the interview, he gave a glimpse into some of his training, and also talked about what Queens has to do to pull off a victory against Drury the rest of the way for the team title.

After moving to 19th all time in the men’s 200-yard IM last night, Queens’ Matt Josa decided to ramp up the heat in the 100-yard fly.
Josa, out in a ridiculous time of 20.96, came home in 23.93 to blast his NCAA D2 record with a 44.89. Not only did that beat his lifetime best of 45.45 that stood as the D2 record it vaulted him to ninth all time in the event’s history.
