Matt Grevers, Caitlin Leverenz Headed to Maui with Junior Pan Pacs Team
Matt Grevers and Caitlin Leverenz will be traveling to Maui with the National Junior Team this August. While both National Team Veterans suffered disappointing third place finishes at Olympic Trials, they’ll serve as mentors for the United States Team at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships.
Grevers told Swimming World, “After the disappointment of Trials it sounds awesome to get to still be a part of Team USA. It’s maybe a different Team USA than I envisioned being a part of, but it’s an ideal opportunity AND it’s in Hawaii.”
Leverenz shared the news on Twitter Wednesday night.

The meet takes place August 24-27 in Maui, Hawaii. Forty swimmers qualified to represent the United States, based on their performances at Olympic Trials. Australia and New Zealand have also released their rosters for the meet.
How come Michael Andrew is not part of this team??
