Marshall University Inks 14 Student-Athletes for 2020-21 Season
Marshall University swimming and diving head coach Ian Walsh has announced the signing of 14 student-athletes for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
The incoming class includes Paige Banton, Gina Cantoral, Grace Cox, Madeline Hart, Klava Katayama, Claire Kenney, Alaina Laster, Eszter Laban, Naomee Miller, Mackenzie Rider, Macey Swearingen, Grace Valenza, Audrey West and Avery Wilson.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming this group to our program this coming fall,” Walsh said. “This is probably one of our deepest classes top to bottom. Through the recruiting process it was clear that they all embody what it means to be a part of our program.”

“Our staff addressed a lot of areas in our team and have a better balance through a dual meet roster and championship roster. We have great leaders within our program and I know they will help foster an environment where these 12 women feel a part of our family,” Walsh said.
“Each individual brings a different dynamic to this program and will elevate our already strong culture here at Marshall. Our staff and team members can’t wait to welcome these women to campus in a few months.”
