PHOENIX, Arizona, August 11. USA Swimming national team head coach Mark Schubert and Olympian Ryan Lochte participated in a teleconference today with members of the media, discussing the preparation for next week's Pan Pacific championships.
Among the questions Lochte answered were his rehabilitation from a groin pull about a month ago, his heavy racing schedule at Pan Pacs and how it could translate to the Olympics, as well as his new training philosophy.
Schubert explained how the younger people on the team are adjusting to the environment, his perspective on the European championships and how swimmers are adjusting to the textile suits.
